2015 BASSMASTER Elite at Sacramento River/Cal Delta

Long runs of an hour or more are almost mandatory for the Elite Series anglers competing in the Sacramento River Delta this week. With no-wake zones and long, winding channels, it will take at least that long, perhaps even longer, to reach the most productive sections of the Delta. In consideration of that, the competition days have been extended for the Sacramento Bassmaster Elite. Most tournament days last eight hours; the anglers here have about nine hours to run and fish.

The extension was recommended by the Elite Series Advisory Board during its first meeting at the beginning of the 2015 season and implemented by B.A.S.S. tournament officials shortly afterward. ~ BASSMASTER.com
