Port Saint Lucie, Fla. — “Duel Corporation, parent company of Yo-Zuri America and Hardcore Bass Lures, announced today their intent to support B.A.S.S. professional tournament bass fishermen for the 2016 season.”
Duel Corporation and Yo-Zuri look forward to a strong season with a lineup of industry veterans as well as newcomers to the sport.
“For the first time ever, Yo-Zuri will be sponsoring anglers under the Duel / Yo-Zuri brands, for the Bassmaster Elite Series,” stated Buddy Prause, vice president of sales & marketing for Yo-Zuri. “We are also pleased to announce the retention of key pro staff members, along with the addition of several avid newcomers as well.”
We are extremely excited to announce the addition of Brandon Card to our Pro-Staff Family for 2016.
“Brandon comes to Yo-Zuri with a wealth of knowledge and experience, mainly garnered during his time at the University of Kentucky where he competed at the college level for four years while earning his Bachelor of Science Degree,” stated Buddy Prause.
“Brandon’s solid record of performances, including the 2012 Bassmaster Elite Rookie of the Year, six Top 10 Elite Series finishes, and now competing in his second Bassmaster Classic makes him one of most qualified, young anglers to compete on the Bassmaster Elite Series. We look forward to working alongside Brandon on a number of product development initiatives,” stated Chris Bishop.
Card echoed Chris’s statement, by saying, “Yo-Zuri already has a great product line for serious bass anglers, but what excites me the most is the opportunity to help the team design new products! With my design background as a landscape architect, I have been very interested in designing baits for several years now. I am always tweaking baits and coming up with new ideas to put more bass in the boat.”
